How to create a mini shrine pendant using polymer clay, mica powder, and silkscreen

Did you know you can use mica or mineral matte pigment loose powders with a CreateAlong silkscreen? You just need a decent brush - one with the ability to pounce the powder through the screen, so not too soft, not too stiff!

Once you've got your brush in hand, everything else is a breeze!

Our Scalloped Shrine Cutters would be a great choice for this project. Find all of our silkscreens HERE.  We also offer the Jewel Shimmer pigment palette. Lastly, our Texture Tips stamps would be a great option for adding a design to the pendant, as would any of our texture mats or stamps!

If this project idea was fun for you, won't you please Pin It? Adding this to pinterest helps other people find our tutorials! Thanks :)

  • Really enjoyed this video! I loved the silk screening with mica powders. I did not realize I could do that, but I am definitely going to use it in the future! Thank you!
