Did you know you could gel print with polymer clay as your base instead of paper?
Well check out these two explorations. In both, I've used our high-quality fabric silkscreens to add patterns. This is a really fun way to indirectly pattern onto your clay. In video one, I used the gelli plate to add texture and then silkscreen onto the clay, and in the second video I silkscreen onto the plate for a pattern transfer.
Other tools you can get here to try with your plate include mylar stencils for patterns, rubber stamps- which will "lift" color from the paint, and even our cutter shapes. Anything you stamp onto the painted surface can be manipulated with shape tools.
Gelli plates are a really fun and versatile tool to try with your polymer clay art.
